I was walking by the Rajpath in our college, NIT- Calicut. It seemed like that there was some carnival going on (like our Ragam). When I reached the MB, I saw 2 elephants and people were riding on it, like they do in a safari. Well when I went a little further, I could see that one of the elephants had a limp and being an animal lover ;), I asked the mahout what was wrong with it. But he rebuked me saying this was normal and I shouldn’t worry about it. Seeing his indifferent attitude, I tried to contact the forest office through my cell, but it showed its true colors by showing no network.

There was a security guard standing there and asked him to call the forest office and explain the situation here (you have to expect that I am aware of the forest office’s phone number). As the guard was speaking with a person of the forest office, I noticed that the limping elephant had turned the corner towards the OAT (Open Air Theatre), vanishing from my sight. I followed the path hoping to catch it soon.


Walking by the Central Computer Centre (CCC), I had only turned the corner from the OAT that I found myself walking uphill on a red, dusty hill. I could see the sun set from the end of that road. Seeing no one in sight, I decided to walk back. I had traced only a few steps that I found a huge person (much huge than Khali) run towards me. He was shouting at me to run away. Well I couldn’t sense anything from being asked to run. I stood my ground (cowards run :D ). He came to halt in front of me and said that it is not safe out here.

He continued and said that he was the elephant that was limping around (WTH, am I dreaming?). Anyways I was not going to believe anything. He went on to say that his master (he has a master too :-o ) was a cruel person and made him to work like this for he owed him something (that explains why he had to pretend being an elephant).

He would have continued if not for the spear that came without a screech towards him, well it was danger signals for me. The Giant asked me to run, and following the path of the spear I could see a malformed monster (monsters can be malformed too) running frantically towards me. I quickly went to hyper drive, smashing through the glass windows I quickly made by exit to the floor below (hills have floors too), and there was no looking back then. Jumping through stairs, I came to level ground but the monster was still behind me. I was running like Forrest Gump but with a higher speed, I entered the woods. Saw a bent tree lying on my runway, made a quick stop and the monster overshot me. Saw an opening towards my left, jumped right into it and resumed my running. Then I saw a stream flowing through my side, I jumped over it and landed in the bushes, rolled for some time and came into an opening that seemed like an exit similar to the entrance to the park in the movie Jurassic Park. I could see scores of people lined up with their guns: machine guns, snipers, bazookas aimed towards me but not at me.

The monster had only just entered when it boom. I couldn’t get the chance to see the fallen monster, was it a green monster like Hulk? ;). I first felt it so. I was lying on the ground completely knocked out of exhaustion. My father came to me and asked me to wake up and said, “Its time for us to leave for office, get up and have your breakfast”. What?? I held my head up to see why the eerie silence, having had my cell on my hand, it showed no network, again. But the clock was visible, very clearly, 7:40 am it said.

I have been dreaming, again. Well I was very tired to get up with all that running in the dream so chose to sleep till 8:00 am at least. I am wondering where did all my superpowers go in the dream? Normally it was me who took out the demons :D.
